We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to work in our client’s data team, focusing on the technical aspects of data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.

Experience / Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer 
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) 
  • Experience with or knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Airflow) and data storage solutions (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Warehouses) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • Ability to analyze data problems and contribute to the development of innovative solutions 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly to non-technical team members 
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of data engineering 
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines for data collection, data mining, and analytics using various tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark) 
  • Help manage database systems, perform routine maintenance, ensure database performance and reliability, and assist with database design and storage 
  • Implement processes and tools to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes 
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to support their data infrastructure needs and ensure data integrity and consistency across the organization 
  • Provide technical support for data-related issues, document technical processes, and contribute to the development of best practices in data management and engineering
