Middle/Senior Angular Developer

We are looking for an experienced and product-oriented Angular Developer for the project of an innovative high-tech company based in Berlin.  
Our client’s business is a solution for underwater communication, positioning, navigation and monitoring, as well as an autonomous surface vehicle for survey and support operations. The company develops and markets products and key technologies in maritime and offshore technology worldwide. Requirements:  

• Strong experience with Angular  
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and libraries  
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Experience working with legacy code and refactoring it for long-term sustainability 
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team 
• Upper-Intermediate level of English 

Good to have: 

• Familiarity with web-based positioning systems 
• Familiarity with Maplibre 

Responsibilities: 

• Take ownership of migrating the front-end to Angular+Maplibre, ensuring the new code is robust, maintainable, and scalable 
• Review and analyze the current front-end codebase 
• Collaborate in identifying and fixing bugs, addressing immediate issues in the system 
• Gradually refactor and rewrite parts of the application to improve performance and user experience 
• Assist with integrating the new front-end with the existing back-end and positioning systems 
• Contribute to the long-term improvement of the front-end architecture, ensuring it aligns with modern best practices
