Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join a healthcare team of our client.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize their data utilization, improve hospital resource allocation, and develop tailored solutions for capacity management and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, data analysis, and capacity management; and should have excellent communication skills and an understanding of how to implement digital transformation in a healthcare setting.
Experience / Skills:
Must have:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Experience with capacity management, hospital resource allocation, and healthcare data systems
- Strong understanding of healthcare applications, data warehousing, and reporting systems
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Familiarity with healthcare standards, including GDPR and data protection regulations
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders in a hospital setting
- Ability to travel for work onsite in Sint-Truiden, Belgium
Good to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) in healthcare
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP and hospital-based applications
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI-driven solutions in capacity management
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hospital stakeholders, including IT, HR, and clinical teams, to analyze and understand business needs related to capacity management and data utilization
- Conduct comprehensive business and functional analysis to identify opportunities for improving resource allocation, patient flow, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of healthcare applications that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting for better decision-making
- Lead efforts to create capacity management dashboards by integrating data from multiple hospital systems (HR, scheduling, and operational data)
- Develop project plans and maintain communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
- Provide expertise in structuring and interfacing hospital data systems for improved reporting and performance insights
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and hospital staff to ensure smooth communication and execution of development initiatives
