Middle to Senior Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance to work on the client’s range of eReader devices. You will be joining a software delivery team of ~15 developers and 7 QAs to work on building and enhancing some of the top eReaders in the market.

 Project – a cloud eReading service, the world’s only dedicated digital bookseller. It delivers the best digital reading experience through creative innovation, award-winning eReaders, and top-ranking mobile apps.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test 
• Knowledge of general application testing and Continuous Integration processes 
• Experience with GCC, ARM toolchains, and shell scripting 
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Python 
• Experience with Test Automation tools e.g. Selenium, Espresso, Squish 
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira) 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Good to have:

• Degree in computer or electrical engineering 
• Familiarity with the EPUB format/standard 
• EInk screen experience 

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure every feature is polished, functional, and user-friendly 
• Think outside the box to find unexpected failures 
• Collaborate to squash bugs and improve code quality 
• Log detailed, reproducible bug reports 
• Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge testing tools 
• Share your knowledge to help grow other members on the team and in turn learn from other members on the team
