Senior Platform Engineer 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer for our U.S.-based client specializing in enhancing outbound sales efficiency by providing accurate, real-time contact data and analytics. Their solutions integrate seamlessly with existing sales tools, enabling sales development teams to significantly increase engagement rates and revenue.   

Experience / Skills required: 

Must have: 

• 3+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform with cloud-native, scalable and robust microservices, mainly serverless, networking, big data. Optimally AI and Kubernetes 
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as a Code, optimally with Pulumi and Python 
• 2+ years of experience with Docker, Linux shell scripts, virtualization, containerization, and similar technologies 
• 1+ year of Python 3 experience, preferably in the context of Pulumi, and scripting or implementation of small CLI tools (with Click or similar) 
• Great diligence at work and good communication skills 
• Experience in automated testing with pytest, unittest, Cloud Firestore/Datastore Emulators, and Pub/Sub Emulator 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Responsibilities: 

• Expand our Pulumi/Python-based IaaC platform to assist service engineers with testable, easily reusable code, managed via GitOps 
• Approve infra changes by developers in PR reviews 
• Add testable Pulumi-inline code to our Python-based services in the runtime environment for the dynamic provision of tenant resources 
• Automate and accelerate CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket and Cloud Build 
• Enhance developer experience and team efficiency 
• Optimize and maintain our build image used in Cloud IDE + CI/CD 
• Expand internal CLI tool capabilities 
• Document DevOps utilities, processes, and provide support to our engineering team
