Lead QA Engineer  

We are seeking a motivated QA engineer to our US-based client’s team and who will do what it takes to ensure the client continue delivering the world’s highest performing automated photo experiences to today’s largest companies/brands in entertainment like Disney, Marvel, Hasbro, Warner Bros, Sony, 20th Century, Major League Baseball, NHL, Dave & Buster’s, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Simon Malls, and many more.  

Client– is a key entertainment and technology player, with 14,000+ photo booths autonomously creating and capturing memorable experiences around the globe.  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer, with expertise in building automated tests 
• 5+ years of software development or experience within Information Technology field 
• Ability to write automated tests/tools in Python, JavaScript, Shell or scripting language of your choice 
• Experience with REST-client protocols and endpoint testing tools (eg – Postman) 
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration 
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle 
• Experience with regression and repeatability testing for Windows applications and browser-based applications 
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and microservice architecture 
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage constant priority changes and deadlines 
• Team player with excellent written and verbal English communication skills 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with hardware-software integration testing 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes 
• Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards 

Responsibilities: 

• Own all end-to-end manual and automation testing of existing and new photo booth products; this includes designing tests for a variety of photo booth products and building tools, if necessary, to execute those tests 
• Develop comprehensive test plans based on business and technical requirements provided by engineers and product managers 
• Diligently document test plans, processes, test cases, and test results 
• Communicate test results clearly and succinctly with engineers and product managers 
• Build manual and automated testing infrastructure in collaboration with front-end, back-end, and product applications teams 
• Collaborate with engineers to test new software features and provide valuable feedback to engineers 
• Assist engineers and technical support in root-cause analysis for escalated bugs 
• Make recommendations from findings on how to make a better product and user experience; ideal candidate will take initiative here
