Senior DevOps Engineer (Latin America)

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools to support our scaling platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, automating, and improving our infrastructure with a focus on reliability and scalability. The role includes collaboration with our engineering team to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments across our services. 

Client – U.S- based company. Leader in the sports e-commerce and live streaming space, blending live sports streaming and commerce for fans to purchase exclusive items in real-time. They focus on scaling their platform globally using modern tech and interactive features. 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in a cloud-based environment, particularly with AWS 
• Proficiency with Argo CD and other modern CI/CD tools 
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and configuration management 
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools 
• Ability to work autonomously and within a distributed team environment 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with Elixir/Phoenix will be a plus 
• Experience with React and/or Next.js applications will be a plus 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications 
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Argo CD to streamline deployments and monitor application health 
• Support migration efforts from a legacy PHP monolithic system to a modern microservices architecture 
• Collaborate with the front-end and back-end teams to ensure deployment and runtime environments align with application requirements
