Senior Full-stack JS engineer – LATAM

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the development of an AI-powered recruiting SaaS platform that is transforming how companies source, match, and hire talent.

Our US-based client is a global executive search company that has developed its own recruiting technology platform. Originally built as an internal solution, it is now evolving into a commercial multi-tenant SaaS product and is already serving enterprise customers. The platform replaces traditional recruiting workflows with modern, AI-powered capabilities for candidate sourcing and matching, helping companies make hiring processes faster and more efficient.

Your impact

You’ll join the client’s engineering team and work across the full stack, building new product functionality, improving existing features, and contributing to the continued evolution of the platform as it expands its commercial offering.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, including modern hooks, state management, and component architecture
• Strong experience with Node.js and backend development
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design and querying
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS and responsive web development
• Experience building and delivering full-stack features end-to-end
• Ability to translate Figma designs into production-ready UI components
• Experience delivering stable, maintainable, and regression-resistant production code
• Ability to explain and justify technical decisions
• Strong spoken and written English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Product-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud environments
• Exposure to LLMs such as OpenAI or Claude, including API integration, prompt engineering, or development of AI-powered features
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing SaaS environment
• Experience building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS products
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

What you’ll work on

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack product features using React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Build new functionality and enhance existing recruiting, candidate sourcing, and matching workflows
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, maintainable, and user-friendly React components
• Develop and improve backend services and APIs in Node.js
• Implement platform enhancements, resolve bugs, and maintain stable, production-ready code
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform as it expands its SaaS and AI capabilities
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA engineers, designers, and other developers within an Agile environment using JIRA
• Participate in technical discussions and clearly communicate the reasoning behind engineering decisions
• Take ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to deployment and production support
• Maintain high standards of code quality while supporting rapid product development
