Senior Java Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our client’s green energy project.  

Client – Canadian startup with green energy project. Reliability-as-a-Service (RaaS) optimizes uptime for EV charging infrastructure by learning charging station health and proactively solving problems. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field  
• Previous experience in a Senior Java Developer or similar role preferred 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns 
• Experience with cloud-based services including AWS (in priority) and Azure 
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 

Responsibilities:

• Engage in investigative tasks and architecture decision-making in a project that’s starting from scratch 
• Take part in the full development cycle and ensure smooth development and cooperation
