Senior Game Concept Artist

We are looking for an experienced Game Concept Artist for our Finnish client’s team who focuses on producing mobile games with high production value for mid-core audience. They design engaging action and shooter games without platform limitations. The teams deliver top-quality cross-platform entertainment to players worldwide.

It’s Super Dynamic Game Development company with direct Agreement with most of the Game Hollywood studios as a development partner.

Experience / Skills required:

Must have:

5+ years as Game Concept Artist
Good knowledge of the MDA framework (Mechanics Dynamics Aesthetics)
A complete understanding of game mechanics, how to guide the player forward
Understanding of the defining aspect of own position in the team, and the significance of it
A drive to be a part of significantly visual and high-class team
The knowledge and understanding of the franchise the game world is being built into
Speed painting skills
Working with 3D content creation packages
Knowledge of game engine
Excellent traditional art skill
Upper-Intermediate English and better

Responsibilities:

To create and produce masculine/testosterone fueled mercenary material, including blood limited gore and violence
To add “spice” and visual “wow factors” to the level concept
To generate interesting and vivid gameplay concepts from references and level mock-ups
To create storytelling layer on top of the MDA framework
To bring out new ideas related to the game world
To provide new and interesting level and character ideas
To adapt into changing requirements during development
To draw/render multiple different art styles
