Senior SCADA Solutions Engineer 

We are looking for a Senior SCADA Solutions Engineer to join our Client’s Technical Team — a global leader in sustainable transport solutions, driving the transition from traditional manufacturing toward a fully digitalized and connected production ecosystem. With more than 50,000 employees worldwide and production sites across Europe and South America, the organization is actively investing in automation, green technologies, and smart factory initiatives. 

You will join a central IT/OT engineering team responsible for developing global SCADA and automation standards, ensuring consistent production quality and efficiency across multiple factories. The role focuses on integrating SCADA systems with MES, machine networks, and industrial IT environments to enable seamless data flow, real-time monitoring, and smarter production processes. 

Requirements: 

• At least 5+ years in SCADA/PLC solution design and implementation, ideally across multiple sites or factories 
• SCADA Systems: Ignition (Inductive Automation) — must have deep practical experience in development and configuration  
• PLC Systems: Siemens TIA Portal and SIMATIC WinCC 
• Experience in integration between SCADA, MES, and machine networks 
• Experience with SQL Server for data logging, configuration, and reporting 
• Understanding of control systems, sensors, and OT/IT interfaces in a production environment 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop SCADA solutions used globally across production sites 
• Act as the bridge between SCADA and surrounding technologies such as MES, machine control systems, and factory networks 
• Support local factory IT/OT teams by helping standardize and roll out global SCADA solutions 
• Participate in global change projects, ensuring the quality and consistency of system delivery 
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and document existing SCADA and PLC solutions to improve reliability and maintainability
