Senior Backend Developer (Brazil)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for our US-based client’s creative data company. Its scoring software and analytics have become an essential ingredient in the creative and media decisions of the world’s largest marketers and agencies, as they strive to drive business results through improved creative effectiveness. They collaborate with Johnson&Johnson, Meta, Burger King.

Project – is the world’s leading platform for Intelligent Creative. They provide an end-to-end technology solution for all of the brand’s creative needs. It is an integrated platform combining AI-powered creative analytics with a production workflow system connected to a global network of expert creators. This platform dramatically improves ad campaign ROI through actionable creative insights, faster creative turnaround, better performing ads and streamlined workflow.

Requirements: 

• 8+ years of backend experience, including distributed systems at scale 
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills; experience with NestJS 
• Solid grasp of service-oriented and microservices architecture 
• Proven track record building and scaling APIs and backend systems 
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Snowflake, and Databricks 
• Proficient with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code 
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices 
• Focused on code quality, security, performance, and observability 
• Experience in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better  

Responsibilities: 

• Build scalable backend services using TypeScript (NestJS) within a service-oriented architecture 
• Design and maintain APIs and integrations for creative and analytics workflows 
• Work with modern cloud infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines 
• Use a diverse set of databases including MongoDB, MySQL, Snowflake, and Databricks 
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help define backend best practices 
• Advance our platform to support analytics, creative scoring, and AI-driven features 
• Ensure observability, testability, and maintainability using Datadog and OpenTelemetry 
• Collaborate with product, data, and frontend teams to deliver high-impact features
