Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake, ADE) 

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake and Agile Data Engine (ADE) to join a long-term retail sector project. 

The client is a Finnish engineering consultancy with a strong background in industrial and embedded systems, including low-level and system software development, testing, and validation. They have delivered complex engineering projects for both large international enterprise clients and smaller technology companies, often in long-term consulting engagements. 

In recent years, the company has been expanding into data services, offering solutions in data management, data quality improvement, modern data warehousing, scalable data platforms, and AI-driven analytics. The team focuses on building sustainable data platforms, enterprise-grade data pipelines, and long-term customer collaborations. 

Experience / Skills required: 

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake 

• Practical experience with Agile Data Engine (ADE) 

• Solid background in data warehousing and data pipeline development 

• Experience working in agile environments 

• Ability to work independently in a long-term, remote assignment 

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, build, and maintain data warehouses using Snowflake 

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using Agile Data Engine (ADE) 

• Support and evolve data infrastructure for a retail sector client 

• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment 

• Contribute to the long-term development of data platforms
