Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer with experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and strong knowledge of PostgreSQL to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and will possess strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, including experience in TDD
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Stimulus and Tailwind
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and management
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Upper-Intermediate English and better

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the latest Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure code quality and stability
• Continuously improve our development process and practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and make recommendations for improvement
