Middle/Senior Unity Developer 

We are looking for a high-performance Unity Developer specializing in path algorithms, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality and efficiency of our client systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate sophisticated path-planning algorithms, ensuring smooth navigation and interaction within our environments. 
The client is a leading company in the logistics space, dedicated to enhancing the user experience and promoting sustainable delivery methods.

Experience / Skills required: 

Must have: 

• Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a focus on path planning 
• Strong proficiency in C# and Unity scripting 
• Familiarity with techniques related to pathfinding (e.g., A* algorithm) 
• Experience with debugging and performance profiling in Unity 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively 
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git 
• Ability to travel regularly within Europe for site visits and supplier meetings 
• Upper-Intermediate English and better 

Good to have: 

• Experience with robotics or autonomous systems 
• Knowledge of physics-based simulations and 3D mathematics 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement path planning algorithms within Unity applications 
• Collaborate with software engineers and designers to create realistic and efficient navigation systems 
• Optimize algorithms for performance and accuracy in complex environments 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pathfinding and navigation 
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure reliable algorithm performance 
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes
