Middle Automation QA Engineer
We are looking for a high-performing Automation QA Engineer who will be a part of an innovative team developing a challenging, cutting-edge technology platform.
Our client is the pioneer of IT-based legal services in Germany. They help customers in the field of labor and traffic law with digital solutions. The company is growing rapidly, expanding nationally and internationally, and aim to reach even higher in the future.
Project – the world’s leading air passenger rights portal, service has been used by more than 8 mln consumers since 2010.
Experience / Skills required:
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a mix of manual and automation testing
- Solid hands-on experience with Cypress for E2E testing
- Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar testing platforms
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Understanding of web applications built with React / Next.js
- Exposure to backend technologies and APIs (any backend language)
- Experience working with GitLab or GitHub CI/CD pipelines
- Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset
- Upper-Intermediate or stronger English
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain E2E tests using Cypress
- Perform manual testing from a user-centric perspective to identify bugs and UX issues
- Use tools like BrowserStack (or similar) to verify cross-browser and cross-device behavior
- Provide feedback on UX/UI and suggest improvements based on testing experience
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub)
- Track, report, and prioritize bugs and issues
- Collaborate closely with developers and product owner to ensure product quality
