Data Integration & System Implementation Consultant 

We are looking for a Data Integration & Implementation Consultant for our client – specializing in business transformation through its AI-powered Platform. 

Project – a new type of platform that unifies and provides real-time system integration, process automation, data management, continuous insights and advanced analytics and deliver continuous insights to your organisation in real-time in a single SaaS solution.  

We are looking for a consultative, technically skilled professional with a background in data, software, or BI who can bridge client needs and platform capabilities by gathering requirements, performing business analysis, and delivering end-to-end integrated solutions. 

Requirements: 

• Ability to gather and interpret business requirements, understand use cases, and translate them into effective data solutions 
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and the ability to design complex data models
• Experience with Power BI (or similar tools) and dashboarding 
• Strong SQL skills are essential 
• Technical understanding of modern data architectures and leading platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark) 
• Retail Domain Expertise preferred 
• Hands-on experience configuring platforms to deliver complete data solutions 
• Python skills for writing functions and plugins 
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident interacting directly with clients 

Responsibilities: 

• Configure, extend, deploy, test, and validate complete end-to-end data solutions for customers 
• Conduct data analysis, exploration, testing, and validation while engaging with clients to understand data structures and use cases 
• Set up and configure data connectors (e.g., Shopify, Akeneo, Bloomreach, Optimove, etc.)
• Design and implement data workflows and transformations 
• Develop functions and transforms, including writing custom plugins as needed 
• Configure and extend canonical data models and perform data mapping using JSONata or custom code 
• Establish domain-specific data hubs and components 
• Implement and maintain data quality dashboards 
• Build and manage data pipelines, warehouse/lake tables, and views using tools like Databricks following medallion architecture principles 
• Maintain data lineage and oversee the implementation of ML models 
• Create, configure, and extend BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI) on top of structured data layers 
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of implemented solutions 
• Create documentation and user training materials for data solution packages 
• Provide strategic guidance on platform capabilities to maximize solution impact
