Airtable Developer 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Airtable Developer to join our client, a growing energy and construction services company, and help build a scalable internal system for managing projects, sales, and operations. 
Our client is a New York-based company specializing in energy efficiency, construction services, and regulatory compliance. They deliver turnkey solutions including energy audits, HVAC upgrades, EV charging installations, and incentive program management for commercial and multifamily properties. 

You will work on building and scaling a centralized Airtable workspace that supports 25+ project types, complex workflows, and multi-user collaboration across the business. 

Experience / Skills required: 

• Strong experience with Airtable (advanced level) 

• Proven experience in database design and data modeling 

• Experience building complex workflows and automations 

• Experience with API integrations 

• Ability to design user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users 

• Experience working with multi-table relational data structures 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment 

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher 

Good to have: 

• Experience in construction/energy / real estate domains 

• Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.) 

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript / scripting 

• Experience or interest in Node.js / React (for potential future migration) 

Responsibilities: 

• Complete and optimize existing Airtable bases for project, sales, and expense tracking 

• Design data models for 25+ project types (inspections, compliance, remediation) 

• Implement automations and scripts for workflows, PDF generation, and API integrations 

• Build user-friendly interfaces and dashboards for non-technical users (field technicians, managers) 

• Set up permissions, views, and forms for multi-user access 

• Integrate with external data sources (utility APIs, field data capture) 

• Test, maintain, and iterate the system for long-term use
